This is a February 2022 video from The Urban Rescue Ranch in which Ben Christie gets the animals and the water lines ready for a freeze, despite the kangaroo egg title.

With wind chills heading to 18 degrees, Ben shuts off and drains the outdoor water lines. He finds a frozen one anyway and plans to boil water to melt it. He also shows the Minecraft comforter he put on his water heater and says people called him dumb for it. Then he works on getting Kevin, Karen and Kyle back into the barn, and notices that Karen is limping.

Chapters follow the pigs, a livestock escape and the snowy morning after. What I like is how it admits the mistakes: he says he should not have left one line on.

Ben Christie's channel, The Urban Rescue Ranch, has about 3.4 million subscribers, and his nonprofit is [Waco Wildlife Rescue](https://wacowildliferescue.org/), which rehabilitates injured and orphaned native wildlife. 100% of merch proceeds fund the mission, and donations go through the site. A subscribe on his channel is a tiny, free way to say thanks.

What would you have done to keep pipes from freezing?
