Have you ever wondered what's hiding inside the historic buildings at the LBJ Ranch?
What started as a working maintenance facility has transformed into something pretty incredible. The Klein Maintenance Shop spent over four decades — from 1967 all the way to 2008 — keeping the ranch's equipment running and operational. But today? It tells a whole different story.
Now the old shop serves as a showcase for President Lyndon B. Johnson's personal vehicle collection, giving visitors a rare up-close look at the machines that moved a president.
And the best part — you don't have to make the drive out to the Hill Country to experience it! The National Park Service put together a 3.5-minute walkthrough video of the exhibit so anyone, anywhere can step inside this piece of American history. No narration, just the vehicles and the history speaking for themselves.
Whether you're a Texas history buff, a classic vehicle enthusiast, or just love exploring what's behind the doors of our national landmarks, this one is worth your time.
Drop a if you've visited the LBJ Ranch in person, or a if this just moved it up on your bucket list!
